Eligibility — Educational Qualification & Age
- Nationality: Indian citizen.
- Educational Requirement:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks OR 4-year integrated B.El.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. / B.A.B.Ed. (as applicable) where the subject was studied for required years.
- B.Ed. or three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from a recognized institute (integrated B.El.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed / B.A.B.Ed. candidates are exempt from separate B.Ed.).
- Pass in CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) conducted by CBSE is mandatory.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on 07/11/2025. Relaxations apply as per government rules (reserved categories, govt. servants, contractual employees of same department etc.).
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400) (Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial).
Examination Scheme & Selection Process
One-Tier Computer Based Test (CBT) — applicable to the advertised teaching posts (TGTs, Drawing Teacher, Special Education Teacher):
- Duration: 2 hours
- Total Questions: 200 MCQs — Total Marks: 200
- Section A (100 marks): General Awareness; General Intelligence & Reasoning; Arithmetical & Numerical Ability; Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension; Test of English Language & Comprehension (20 marks each).
- Section B (100 marks): Domain / Subject-specific questions including teaching methodology / B.Ed. related questions.
- Minimum qualifying marks apply only for Section-B (domain). Combined marks of both sections will determine final merit.
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
- Draft answer keys will be published and online objections (within specified time) will be accepted before finalization.

Application Fee & Payment Mode
- Application Fee: ₹100/- (One Hundred only).
- Fee Payment Mode: SBI e-pay (only). Other modes will not be accepted.
- Fee Exemptions: Women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of fee (subject to terms in the advertisement).
- Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

- Carefully read the “Instructions for Applying Online” available on the portal.
- Fill the application form accurately — no corrections will be allowed after final submission.
- Pay application fee (if applicable) using SBI e-pay and submit the form.
- Keep printout / screenshot of confirmation for records.
Important Instructions & Cautions
- Only online applications will be accepted. Applications by post / hand / email will be summarily rejected.
- Ensure you apply well before the closing date to avoid website congestion; DSSSB will not be responsible for failures due to heavy load or technical issues.
