Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Language Requirement: Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi is essential.
- Age Limit: 20 to 35 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation applies as per Gujarat Government rules for reserved categories.

Pay Scale and Allowances
- Pay Scale: ₹39,900 – ₹1,26,600 (Level-7, Gujarat State Pay Matrix).
- Probation Period: For the first five years, a fixed pay of ₹49,600 per month will be applicable as per rules.

- Preliminary Examination: Objective type, 200 marks. This serves as a screening test for the main examination.
- Main Examination: Descriptive papers — Gujarati, English, General Studies Paper 1, and General Studies Paper 2.
