Who can apply? (Eligibility summary)
- Nationality: Indian citizen (or permitted categories as per the notification).
- Age (as on 01.09.2025): 23 to 35 years — relaxations apply as per govt. rules.
- Credit Manager: Graduation with 60% (55% for reserved categories) OR professional qualification (CA/CMA/CFA/MBA-Finance) + minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in credit appraisal/branch management in a scheduled commercial bank.
- Agriculture Manager: Graduation in Agriculture (or related field) with 60% (55% reserved) + minimum 3 years relevant experience as an officer in a scheduled commercial bank.
Selection Process
Selection may include an online written test, screening and a personal interview. The bank may, at its discretion, waive off the written test. When conducted, the written test has three sections:
- English Language — 20 Qs
- General Awareness — 20 Qs
- Professional Knowledge — 60 Qs
Final merit: Written Test (70% weight) + Interview (30% weight).
Pay & Other Details
- MMGS-II pay scale: ₹64,820 – ₹93,960 (plus allowances like DA, HRA, CCA etc.).
- Selected candidates will remain on probation and must execute a service bond (details in notification).
- Candidates must maintain a healthy credit history (CIBIL score ≥ 650 at joining).
