Eligibility at a glance
- Nationality: Citizen of India.
- Age: 18–25 years as on 01 July 2025 (born not earlier than 02-07-2000 and not later than 01-07-2007). Age relaxations apply as per categories listed in the notification.
- Educational Qualification (essential): 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognised board as on 21-10-2025. Certain relaxations (to 11th pass) for wards of Delhi Police personnel and specific departmental categories are permitted.
- Additional for male candidates: Valid LMV driving licence (Motorcycle or Car) required as on date of PE&MT (learner licence not acceptable).

Selection process & exam pattern
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE) — single paper of 100 objective questions, 100 marks, duration 90 minutes. Paper is divided as:
- Part-A: General Knowledge / Current Affairs — 50 Q — 50 marks
- Part-B: Reasoning — 25 Q — 25 marks
- Part-C: Numerical Ability — 15 Q — 15 marks
- Part-D: Computer Fundamentals, MS Office basics, Communication & Internet — 10 Q — 10 marks
Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. CBE will be in English & Hindi only.
- Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT) — qualifying in nature (conducted by Delhi Police in Delhi). Candidates shortlisted from CBE will be called for PE&MT as per prescribed age-wise standards.
- Document Verification & Medical Examination — conducted by Delhi Police for candidates who qualify PE&MT.
How to apply (short steps)
- Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on ssc.gov.in (old OTR on ssc.nic.in will not work).
- Login and fill the online application for “Constable (Executive) Male and Female in Delhi Police Examination, 2025”.
- Capture live photograph (module supports webcam/mobile capture) and upload signature (JPEG 10–20 KB as per format).
- Pay the fee (if applicable) online through the available gateways.
- Keep a print / screenshot of the submitted application for records.
