Eligibility
- Minimum education: Law degree (LLB) from a recognized university (must possess before last date of application).
- Age limit: 21 – 40 years as on 01 July 2025 (born between 02 July 1985 and 01 July 2004). Relaxation as per rules.
- Preferential qualifications: Territorial Army service (≥2 years) or NCC ‘B’ certificate.

Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination (Objective type) — General Knowledge & Law — 150 marks. Negative marking applicable.
- Main Written Examination — 6 papers, total 500 marks (General Hindi, General English, General Knowledge, Criminal Law & Procedure, Evidence Act, Other Laws). Candidate, who clear the Preliminary Examination are eligible for Main Examination.
- Interview / Personality Test — 50 marks. Final merit: Main exam + Interview.
